£22,100 pro rata, plus benefits
12hr shifts 4 days on 4 days – 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am or 10am-10pm

This leading system engineering company supports customers using their electronic, mechanical and IT equipment. They currently have openings for technically experienced service desk professionals looking to join a team of 1st line telephone technical support people.
As a Service Desk Technician, you will be responsible for;
Taking phone calls / emails from customers reporting technical issues with devices or equipment
Providing 1st line fixes using remote tools and telephone troubleshooting techniques
Accurately recording details and logging information
Prioritising problems and resolving issues logically
Escalating calls to the 2nd line support team
The successful Service Desk Technician should have a mix of the following skills and experience;
Full Driving Licence and own transport to get to work during non-peak times
Help Desk / Service Desk experience
Good customer service skills with the ability to listen and record information accurately and prioritise clearance of logged faults
Good verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and accurate keyboard skills.
